Neuromodulators (like Botox, Dysport or Xeomin) and hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are one of the most commonly performed non-surgical cosmetic procedures performed in Canada. Cosmetic injectable therapy is growing in popularity because it is fast, effective, with little to zero downtime, and can look great when performed by a skilled practitioner. Neuromodulators and fillers are used to soften the appearance of wrinkles of the face, fill in areas of volume loss, and can prevent and reverse signs of aging.

Neurotoxin

Neuromodulators (like Botox, Dysport or Xeomin) can erase forehead wrinkles, crow’s feet, and furrows between the eyes. A person’s presence can be changed just by smoothing out the muscles in the face and neck and go from appearing frustrated or tired to accurately displaying our emotions.

Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler

Fillers, including Teoxane, Juvederm, and Belotero, among others, are FDA approved Hyaluronic Acid biomaterials that add subtle volume to the face. They can be used to fill in deep wrinkles or creases, such as the ones that appear in the nasolabial folds (the lines around the mouth), marionette lines (the lines near jowls), and glabella (the lines between the eyes). Fillers can also be used to augment the fullness of the lips and fill in the hollow of tear troughs under the eyes.

Dry Eye

There can be many factors that contribute to Dry Eye such as compromised anatomical function and structural support. With Neuromodulator and Dermal Filler combination therapy, the interconnected functions and aesthetics of our eyes can be addressed to improve our overall eye health and appearance.
