Dr. Kalin Chai was born and raised in the Okanagan, British Columbia. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and completed her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo.
She cares about bringing quality eye care to those with limited access. During her time in Vancouver, Kalin provided vision care to long-term care residents who were unable to travel outside their facilities. She has also joined the Eye Health Institute to provide eye care to underserved communities in Jamaica.
She has a special interest in supporting patients with dry eye disease, offering education and personalized treatment. She is excited about the advancements being made in the field and optimistic about the future.
Kalin is thrilled to work with an amazing team of eye care professionals. Outside of work, she loves to ride her bike, run, climb, practice latte art, and enjoy the outdoors.
