Dr. Mitch Browne B.Sc.(Hons.) M.Sc. M.D. F.R.C.S(C) is a board certified ophthalmologist, and fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

After graduating with an undergraduate honours degree in biochemistry, Dr Mitch Browne went on to pursue graduate studies with a focus on genomics. He then completed medical school at Memorial University in St. John’s N.L. Dr. Browne subsequently completed specialty training at the University of British Columbia with internship at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria followed by ophthalmology residency training at UBC Vancouver.

Dr. Browne has several publications and international presentations and is involved in medical education as a clinical instructor with the UBC Faculty of Medicine. Prior to joining Victoria Eye he was practicing as a comprehensive ophthalmologist in the Okanagan region.
